The Taverns - 2007 Sagra delle Castagne. Soriano nel Cimino, Italy

During Soriano nel Cimino's annual chestnut festival (Sagra delle Castagne) in October, the town divides into four sections (Contradas - named San Giorgio', 'Rocca', 'Trinita' and 'Papacqua').

Each 'Contrada' competes in a series of contests for various prizes, one of which is the best medieval feast. Each Contrada sets up their own restaurant during the two weeks of the festival for the visitors and townspeople, and each is unique in its own way. This video shows the four taverns belonging to each of the Contradas.
