The Ludika Festival & San Pellegrino District - Viterbo, Italy

The Ludika festival in Viterbo, Italy (10 miles from soriano nel Cimino) is held each year in the medieval quarter of San Pellegrino. It is a wonderful event at the end of June in which the citizens bring us back to the year 1243 with period dress, food, events and games. It makes for a wonderful evening as you experience one of Europe's best preserved medieval quarters in the spirit of its ancient roots.
