Tuscany

Soriano nel Cimino is about 35 minutes from the border with Tuscany. Most of the places in Tuscany that our guests visit are located in the southernmost area of the region, which is widely considered to be the most beautiful. This is the part of Tuscany that most people think of when they picture it in their minds. We are an easy drive from the southern Chianti wineries where one can experience Brunello, Vino Nobile, and so many of Tuscany's best wines.

Umbria is known to Italians as the 'Green Heart of Italy'. While it is not as widely marketed as Tuscany, many argue that it is far more spectacular. Soriano is quite literally at the gateway to Umbria, only 10 minutes from the border, and 15 minutes from the major freeway interchange that takes you to so many of Umbria's most popular destinations. These include Assisi, Perugia, Spoleto, Todi, Deruta, Terni, Norcia, Narni, Gubbio and many more.

Lazio (or Latium) is the region of Italy that Rome is found in. Soriano nel Cimino is located within this region in an area known as 'Alto Lazio', or 'Northern Lazio'. Soriano's area of this region intersects with the regions of Tuscany and Umbria. Additionally,. Alto Lazio is a very up and coming tourist destination, as it is very similar to Tuscany and Umbria, but hasn't been overcrowded by mass tourism and its trappings.
