			<description>Actually, it was never a ghost town. Calcata was condemned in the 1930s but was only in the process of being abandoned in the late 1960s when the hippies found it. The restaurants don't serve &quot;mostly vegetarian fare&quot; but La Grotta dei Germogli is veggie friendly. And there are about 100 full-time residents, not 60.  - costa</description>
